THE INSPIRATION
- Design inspired by nautical, vintage caged lanterns that provided much-needed light when navigating difficult terrain and conditions, both in the forest and at sea.
- Metal caging protected the delicate, historically glass globe and helped increase functionality.
- Typically hooked at the top with a rubber bottom, these lanterns could be hung for elevated lighting or placed on surfaces when the user needed both hands for a job.
