BUCK 285 BANTAM

BUCK มีดพับยอดนิยมในอเมริกามาตั้งแต่ปี 1902

และมีปฏิวัติระบบล็อคใบมีดแบบใหม่ในปี 1963

เพื่อให้สะดวกในการพกพาแทนมีดใบตายที่มีความยาวมากกว่า และต้องใช้ปลอกมีดในการจัดเก็บ

โดยใบมีดพับคงมีความแข็งแรงสำหรับการใช้งานอย่างสมบุกสมบัน

และมีระบบล็อคที่ปลอดภัย ใช้งานได้ง่าย รูปลักษณ์สวยงาม

ทำให้ BUCK เป็นมีดพับสำหรับการใช้งานแบบ Outdoor มายาวนาน

BUCK 286 BANTAM

มีพับขนาดเหมาะมือ ด้วยโมเดลของ BANTAM ที่เป็นที่นิยม โดยในรุ่น 284 จะมีขนาดกะทัดรัด  เหมาะกับการพกพา

ใบมีดรูปทรงหยดน้ำ ((Drop Point) ขนาด 3 1/8 นิ้ว มีระบบเปิดใช้ได้ด้วยมือเดียว

420HC Steel

One Handed Opening

Lockback

เป็นกลไกการล็อกมีดในตำแหน่งที่เปิดใช้ใบมีดในตำแหน่งที่กว้างที่สุด เสมอกับด้ามมีด

ตัวล็อกจะอยู่ที่สันด้านหลังมีด หากต้องการปลดล็อกเพื่อเก็บมีดจะต้องกดลง

และใช้อีกมือในการพับใบมีด

ระบบนี้จะทำให้ต้องใช้ 2 มือในการเก็บมีด ซึ่งมีความปลอดภัยต่อผู้ใช้งาน

420HC Steel

This is Buck’s standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels.

Add our exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability.

You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance, we harden to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.

Paul Bos Heat Treat

Each blade is put through a rigorous heat treat process and quality performance test.

It is then tempered to the appropriate Rockwell Hardness through a heating, freezing, and reheating system.

This gives you longer edge life, ease of resharpening, and a blade that will not fail you.

Drop Point

This blade is full bellied with a strong, thick point for heavier tasks.

The top of the blade drops down toward the tip, which minimizes accidental punctures. The drop point blade is strong and versatile.

One Handed Opening

You open the blade with the double thumb studs. When opened a solid backlock locks the blade.

As such it will never accidentally close.

The pocket clip can be placed on both sides of the handle and opening and closing the knife can easily be done by left and right-handed users.

Lockback

Lockback folding knives have a mechanism that lock the blade in the open position, activated by opening the blade all the way.

A lock back gets its name from a rocker (rocking lock bar) partially visible on top of the knife.

Opening the blade causes the rocker to lock against the blade so it locks open.

Pushing down on the rocker on top of the handle releases it and enables the user to close the blade.

Lockbacks require two hand closing, though some are one hand openers.
